Guided tour of the writer's cave

In a dynamic and interactive format, I present each stage of book production, from the initial brainstorming to marketing, including rewriting, editing, and the difficult choice of cover design. Peppered with anecdotes and accompanied by relevant visuals, this presentation is sure to be an informative and engaging experience that your young people won't soon forget.

(Grades 5 to 8)

Unleash the writer within you

The goal here is first and foremost to convince the young person that what they have to say has real value. That their perspective, their experiences, and their worldview are unique raw materials from which they can create something beautiful and interesting. Then, I give them concrete tools that will allow them to express this small part of themselves as naturally and clearly as possible. That's the essence of this writing workshop, which generally lasts between one and three class periods.

(Grades 5 to 11)

Little secrets you shouldn't tell anyone

Using examples from my books, I share with students my little secret tricks for adding life and color to my novels. Story development, themes, characters, dialogue, style, humor—simple techniques that will help them see books in a new light, and give them a real boost in creating their next literary masterpiece.

(Grade 5 to Secondary 5)

Warning

It's possible that your most reluctant students may suddenly be struck by an unprecedented literary fever. This reaction is normal and poses no health risks.
