OLIVIER SIMARD

After graduating from UQAM with a degree in literary studies, I taught high school for about twelve years, primarily with students experiencing significant learning difficulties. In 2012, I published Kickflip , my first book. I then wrote the Youtubeurs series, for which I won the Tamarac Prize and the Prix Littéraire des Ados (Young Adult Literary Prize). I now have about ten novels to my name, and my Unleash the Writer Within workshops have been have been offered to over 10,000 elementary and high school students. I also have a deep passion for public speaking and storytelling. Through my coaching and workshops, I help teenagers and adults communicate more clearly, engagingly, and authentically.

When I'm not working, I like to chat with my children, play floor hockey and sing duets with my sweetheart Emilie.
